After the arrival of our trucks (1), the vehicle is picked up by an operator who unloads the trailer, before being photographed under 21 different angles.
It is then stored on the ATC yard, while formalizing the documents with the insurance companies (2). Once GPA gains ownership the vehicle, it is transferred to another yard waiting for its disassembly (3). During this period, it is not accessible to customers or salespersons and no items are removed on site.
Once the vehicle has been planned for its disassembly, it is identified and transferred to our disassembly workshops (4), where it will first undergo a clean-up process (emptying fluids and removing tires). They are then transferred to a second operator who completely disassembles the vehicle and places the parts in good condition on a cart, according to our specifications and the needs of the stock. Every day, there are 30 vehicles passing through this workshop (5).
The carcass of the vehicle, devoid of its polluting elements and a large part of the removable elements is finally crushed (6) and then removed by a service provider responsible for recycling the material.
